Djibril Cissé – Betiton™’s Inhouse Football Predictions Expert
We here at Betiton™ are proud to announce that the football legend Djibril Cissé is offering his services to us! Thus, we’ll be able provide you with exclusive, expert football tips that you won’t anywhere else on the internet! But some of you may be wondering who exactly is Djibril Cissé? And what does he know about football?
Born in France in 1981, Djibril is actually a highly accomplished footballer, whose career extends all the way to 1989, when Djibril was only 8 years old. During his formative years, Djibril played with AC Arles and Nîmes Olympique before finally signing up to AJ Auxerre.
It was with AJ Auxerre—a club that’s built a reputation for fostering young talent, transforming it into excellent players—where Djibril’s professional football career truly began. And it was during his time with AJ Auxerre where Djibril made a name for himself as a ferocious goalscorer.
In fact, Djibril was the top scorer in the 2001-2002 season of Ligue 1, with 22 goals scorer in 29 matches. Moreover, it was thanks to Djibril’s stellar performance that saw AJ Auxerre qualify for the 2002-2003 UEFA Champions League. After a noteworthy career with AJ Auxerre, scoring 70 goals in 128 appearances, Djibril left the club in 2004.
Ever the ambitious striker, Djibril felt like it was time to leave for greener pastures. In fact, his ambitions took him all the way to Anfield Stadium, where he played with the illustrious Liverpool. It was at this time where Djibril had established his reputation as a fiery footballer.
Sadly, however, an unfortunate freak accident saw him unable to play for a couple of months, and even put his future in question. However, Djibril’s remarkable tenacity meant that his inability to play was only a temporary setback. In fact, Djibril had an astounding comeback the following year, being a major contributing factor to several of Liverpool’s victories.
These include their 2005 Champions League win, their 2005 UEFA Super Cup win, and their 2006 FA Cup win. Sadly, his time with the Reds wasn’t to last and in 2007 he was transferred permanently to Olympique de Marseille. Cissé’s time with Marseille saw him net 24 goals in 58 matches before moving on to Sunderland on a loan deal.
Djibril’s time with Sunderland also proved to further establish his reputation as a stupendous striker, scoring a number of important goals for the club. However, despite Cissé’s wishes of remaining with the club, Sunderland decided against signing him permanently. After his brief stint with Sunderland, Djibril then found himself playing with the Greek team Panathinaikos F.C.
It was with Panathinaikos where Cissé finally had the opportunity to shine and prove himself. In fact, he proved to be an instant hit with fans of the team, earning their adoration quite early on. Djibril’s performance with the Greek team led to his being the top goalscorer in the Super League Greece 1.
Sadly, Djibril decided to leave the Greek team due to his disapproval of the refereeing system in Greece. After leaving Panathinaikos, he played briefly with S.S. Lazio before finding himself in the Premier League once again—this time with the Queens Park Rangers.
After playing a turbulent season with the Queens Park Rangers, Cissé went to play on with a number of lesser-known teams, such as the now-dissolved Russian club Kuban Krasnodar. Nowadays, Cissé plays for the Greek-American club Panathinaikos Chicago. You can also find him tweeting about all things football, including professional football tips!

These would include such marvellous teams as Paris Saint-Germain, Olympique de Marseille, Olympique Lyonnais, and AS Monaco. As you can tell, this tournament provides football of the highest quality, which only means that Champions League betting is nothing short of exhilarating.

Finally, the UEFA Nations League allows teams an opportunity to qualify for the UEFA European Championship and, to a lesser extent, for the FIFA World Cup.
- Campeonato Brasileiro Série A: the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A (Brazilian Championship A Series in English), generally known simply as the Brasileirão, is the highest division of Brazilian domestic football. Moreover, it’s also considered to be one of the strongest leagues in the world—in fact, the IFFHS (International Federation of Football History and Statistics) chose the Brasileirão as the strongest national league in the world and in South America in 2021. Understanding Football Betting Odds
If you’re new to the world of sports betting online then you might be wondering what odds are. To put it simply, odds are the numbers that you can find next to the bets that we provide on our sportsbook. These numbers essentially tell you 2 things:
- What the chances of winning your bet are;
- And how much you receive if your bet is a winner.
Thus, for these reasons, it’s important to know what odds are and how they indicate these important factors. Finally, you should also know that there a number of different formats that you can find the odds in. The most common ones, however, are the decimal, fractional, and American odds.
The differences between these formats is how they indicate the risk and reward of a wager, and where in the world they happen to be most popular. Now all that’s left is to explain how these formats can be read. This will help you become a better sports bettor!
Decimal odds are mostly popular in continental Europe, which is why they’re sometimes known as “European odds“. However, they’re also used in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. As the name implies, this format presents itself in decimal numbers.
By simply looking at the numbers, you can easily calculate how much you can win by multiplying your stake with the odds. This, however, is the total payout of the wager. To calculate your profit, simply subtract your original stake from total payout.
Finally, even calculating the probability of the wager is quite easy. All you need to do is divide 100 by the odds you’re given. This will give you the probability of the bet going your way. And that’s really all you need to know about this format!
Fractional odds are mainly popular in the United Kingdom; hence, you’ll sometimes find them referred to as “UK odds” or “British odds“. However, they’re also extremely popular in Ireland as well. As you may easily infer from the name of this format, the numbers are presented to you as fractions.
This format may look complex at first but it’s easily readable with a handful of tricks and calculations. Firstly, let’s say you have odds of 7/9. The number on the left indicates the number of times the outcome is expected to be a failure; the number on the right shows you the opposite.
So, this tells you that if the game had to happen 16 times (7 + 9), the bet would go your way 9 times out of 16. By doing a simply calculation where you divide 9 by 16 and multiply the result by 100, you get the probability. In this case it’s 56.25%.
If you want to know your payout, then there’s another trick you could use: simply take the right number to mean your stake and left to mean your payout. Thus, with odds of 7/9, for every €9 you stake, you’ll receive €7 alongside it.
The final format is, as you may easily assume, mostly popular in the US. Thus, you may find them referred to as “US odds“. This formats uses a series of pluses and minuses to indicate the risks and rewards of wagers. Although it seems like a complex format, it’s actually easier than you may think.
First of all, positive numbers are reserved for underdogs (teams not expected to win), whilst negative numbers refer to the favourites (teams expected to win). Moreover, positive numbers show you how much you receive if you bet €100.
On the other hand, negative numbers indicate how much you need to stake in order to receive a payout of €100. Finally, there are a handful of other calculations that you need to do in order to find out the probability with these odds.
With positive numbers, you need to divide 100 by the provided odds plus 100. So, if you have +150, you need to do this calculation: 100 ÷ (150 + 100) = 0.4. Then multiply the result by 100 to get the percentage, like so: 0.4 × 100 = 40%.
For negative numbers, you need to do the opposite; essentially, you need to divide the odds by themselves plus 100. So, say you’re given -170 odds. The calculation is as follows: 170 ÷ (170 + 100) = 0.63. Again, multiply the result by 100 for the percentage: 0.63 × 100 = 63%.
How to Use International Football Predictions to Improve Your Chances to Win
Now that we’ve explained what odds are, it’s good for you to know what value bets are. In actual fact, the odds provided by a bookmaker isn’t the actual probability of a team winning; there’s no real way of actually calculating what chances a team has of winning.
Thus, a bookmaker’s odds are nothing more than what that bookmaker is willing to pay for a successful wager. Whilst this is calculated with the chances of a team to win in mind, more often than not, bookmakers will present the odds in a way that gives them the advantage in the long run.
This is where football tips probability and value bets come in handy. Value betting is simply an approach to online sports betting, where bettors find bets that have better value than what the bookmaker is showing. This is because the bookmaker’s implied probability and the true probability are different values.
The implied probability is the probability given by the bookmaker, whilst the true probability is the “actual” chances a team has of winning. This is where expert football tips come in as they can tell you what the true probability of a team winning is.
Then you simply need to compare the implied probability with the true probability to understand whether a bet has a better value than what the bookie is showing you. All in all, this can help you secure better valued bets, losing less in the long run.
Important Football Betting Predictors
Other than following expert football tips made by tipsters and prominent footballers like Djibril, there’s a handful of others things you can do to gain an edge in sports betting. In fact, to improve your chances of being successful in making good football predictions, you’d do well to keep the following expert football tips in mind:
Pay Attention to Players’ Forms
You can’t have a football match without a team, and you can’t have a team without players. Obvious enough, yes? But most punters make the mistake of considering teams as some sort of singular organism rather than a collective of individual players.
Thus, it’s imperative that you actually pay attention to the forms of individual players, especially the most important ones. Sometimes, a team can fall apart simply because its best player is injured. Other times, its players aren’t in their best form and this affects the performance of the whole team.
Don’t Forget About the Team’s Form
At the same time, you shouldn’t do the opposite mistake and miss the woods for the trees. Other than checking each individual player’s form, you should also check how the team as a whole is operating. This is part and parcel with checking players’ forms as, of course, a team is only as good as its players.
Read Up on a Team’s History
Other than checking a team’s current performances, you should also look up their historical performances. By checking how a team has fared in the past, you can also get a good idea of how that team can perform in the present.
Analyse the Competition
Whilst you’re analysing one team, you should also check on the other team that’s playing against them. This gives you a good idea of how the match might play out. At the same time, it’s also a good idea to pay attention to the competition as a whole: this includes all the other teams participating as well as the tournament itself.
The Venue Is Also Worth Taking a Look At
Finally, it’s also a good idea to pay particular attention to where the matches are being played. This is because teams that are playing at their home stadiums tend to have an advantage over the other team thanks to the support of their fanbase, amongst other things.
